RIHO

I joined choir in my freshman year when I first came to ASIJ. Choir classes have been my favorite classes for all four years in high school, and I’m grateful for having Ms. Callender as my teacher. I was able to improve on my singing at ASIJ, and I’m glad I was able to experience honor choirs such as KPASS and AMIS!

Sofia

During my time at ASIJ from freshman year to now I always loved how choir classes brought people together. I'm so grateful for the choir community at ASIJ, how loving and accepting it is. I appreciate the past 2 years of a loving community. I'm gonna miss you all so much!

Naomi

I am grateful for my time at ASIJ as it has been filled with music and was able to teach me a lot about myself as an artist. From choir to VJE, I’ve enjoyed every step of the way.

Yuena

I started for the first time in eight grade during my first year at ASIJ. ASIJ choir has been my favorite class for all three years of my time at ASIJ. I’ll miss my choir family and will cherish all of our memories together.

Gleb

Joining concert choir this year has been an interesting experience from performing at ASIJ to attending the choral festival at St Mary’s, it’s definitely a unique course (Like most electives) since it’s more of a community of students with all kinds of musical backgrounds as well as different singing abilities and voice types as opposed to a typical academic class which is nice

Max

ASIJ has treated me super well. I've loved being able to be in choir again and to have been able to meet such amazing people!

Lauren

Leaving the school choir feels like leaving a  second home a place where every note sung echoed with  passion . As I step away, there's a bittersweet melody playing in my heart, filled with memories of laughter, friendship, and the magic of music. ASIJ will forever have a place in my heart.

Isla

I’ve been at ASIJ since 2nd grade, and this years’ choir is one of the best music classes in my entire time here. The community makes it so much fun, and I’m very sad to be leaving, but hope to be able to continue choir at my new school!

Jasmine

I have been part of the choir class for 2 years, I originally joined because my friends did, but I chose to stay for another year because I had made new friends and had a lot of fun. ASIJ and choir have both been super fun experiences that have helped me make friends and grow as a person.

AMALIE

I've only been in choir for a year but it's truly been one of the best classes I have taken throughout high school because of the community of the class that Ms. Callender naturally invites. I love that she makes us work hard, I love her toughness, but also the fact that she remains one of the sweetest people at the same time. I regret not joining sooner.
